State Farm awarded a grant to GentXt Members during “Generation tXt Day at the Capitol”! State Farm representatives also provided lunch and water bottles for teen volunteers during their day advocating for an ‘all-driver text ban’ in Oklahoma. Special thanks to Leslie, Tamara and Jeff!

Teen leaders were grateful to get funding to help promote, educate and advocate for safer teen driving. Generation tXt continues the mission to help save lives thanks to State Farm “fueling the drive”!

Forty-four states have laws specifically against texting while driving. Will Oklahoma be the 45th state to pass a law?

Generation tXt teens continue to advocate for a texting and driving ban in Oklahoma at their annual “Generation tXt Day at the Capitol”. Teens hosted a news conference, spoke with legislators, got signatures on their ‘it’s not OK to text & drive’ banner, and distributed safe-driving strategies.

Consider calling or emailing your state legislator to ask for their support of this life-saving measure. Passing House Bill 1965 is our only chance at getting a law for 2015.
